Art is a very pivotal component to a society, by researching communities present within in each of these societies, we can make a general assumption as to why these “golden ages” actually occurred. Art can be used to inform the viewer on how to perform a certain task, mark an important event in history, tell of an important figure, or royal family, and finally depict what these places truly looked like even in periods of war. With art we can explore these ancient societies in greater detail, because it allows us to have a visual aid in researching the past.
Our hope is to study each of these "Golden Ages" to note the advancements of art, technology, and culture. We also wish to understand how each of these empires correlated with each other.
